Our top coffee shops to stay cosy this Autumn

Autumn has arrived in Chichester and being centrally located, we are spoilt for choice when it comes to cosy coffee spots. So here are some of our favourites:

Common Grounds

Common Grounds is a new independent coffee shop in Chichester and fairly small, perfect for takeaway. However, the tables that they do have inside are perfect for a warm stop, whether you’re refuelling or working away from the office. Located just behind East Street means you’re not distracted by the everyday hustle and bustle and you’re only a minutes walk from the Cross.

Plus, on Wednesdays, they do fresh doughnuts and coffee for just £4. And if you’re lucky you may even get to meet Rufus the dog!

(If doughnuts, dogs and coffee don’t say cosy, we don’t know what does!)

Coffee Lab

If you’re one to take coffee pictures for the gram, the Coffee Lab is for you. They pride themselves in Latte Art and don’t disappoint with their amazing foamy creations.

With seating along the window, you can watch the hats flying off passersby and scarfs wildly following their owners, from the warm indoors. A personal recommendation, make sure you try the brownies, they’re the best we’ve ever tried. Once you’ve tried one, let us know so we can say, “we told you so”.

Luckes

We’re very privileged to have the one and only Luckes in our city and just outside our front door! Not only is Luckes a cafe, but also a wellbeing clinic and juice bar. As soon as you walk in you are spoilt for choice, from freshly made juices to make your own salad options. Luckes is a great area to get some work done, with outdoor seating perfect for the spring and summer months. Plus, whenever you go, you know you are eating something fresh and good for you… (makes up for all the brownie).

Boston Tea Party

Last but not least… Boston Tea Party, who offer so much in terms of food, drink and delicious sweet treats. It’s one of our favourite places to stop for brunch with our coffee and is great for enjoying a chin-wag with friends or a relaxed meeting. Like us, they are keen supporters of reducing plastic waste and we’ve got a colourful collection of their reusable cups stacking up at home!

We hope that this has given you an excuse to go for a coffee or four.

All the love, Kitch x
