Sussex Digital Awards Finalists
It’s an exciting time at Kitch HQ and we’re busier than ever. Not only have we taken on several new clients but our existing ones are taking the plunge and investing into new projects. What’s more, we’re thrilled that two of our clients have been shortlisted as Sussex Digital Awards Finalists. Both Barfoots and Cowdray Park Polo Club have been nominated for the ‘Best Use Of Social Media For Business’ category.
Barfoots are producers of fresh vegetables and supply the country’s leading supermarkets. The team brought us on board from February 2013 to shake up their online presence. Our key aim is to promote the consumption of their products to consumers, particularly sweetcorn as they account for 90% of the UK market. We manage an ongoing influencer outreach strategy for the brand, inviting key chefs and bloggers into their Development Kitchen to create engaging social media content. We’ve launched Facebook and Instagram channels for their brand and seen their Twitter grow organically by 386% in the last two years. Furthermore, we amassed an incredible 7.4 million impressions during their appearance on BBC Harvest in 2015.
Cowdray Park Polo Club
Cowdray Park Polo Club is the home of British polo and hosts to the world-renowned Jaeger-LeCoultre Gold Cup. The strategy for them aims to increase social membership take up and build brand awareness among a younger audience. We launched an Instagram channel for the brand in March 2016, this is now their top performing platform with 4.1k organic followers. Their Facebook has also grown by 23% and Twitter by 60%.
We love working with both brands and look forward to launching new projects for them in the coming year. We’ve got our posh frocks ready for the Sussex Digital Awards ceremony on Thursday, April 13th. They’ve got some tough competition, but we have our fingers crossed! Best of luck to all the Sussex Digital Awards Finalists nominated and we’ll see you at the bar.
