Reach New Audiences Using Social Media
Businesses can reach new audiences using social media, used effectively it’s a fantastic tool for building a brand’s online presence. It provides the opportunity to create a conversation with potential customers and helps people to discover your product or service.
Changing Brand Perceptions
This year we’ve had the pleasure of working with Cowdray Park Polo Club, also known as the ‘Home of British Polo’. Their key aims for introducing a social media strategy were to build brand awareness online and reach a younger audience.
Traditionally visiting the polo has been considered a luxury activity, often the iconic Pretty Woman scene comes to mind. In reality most weekends spectators are seen watching in their wellies or with a homemade picnic from the sidelines. Although the spectacular Jaeger-LeCoultre Gold Cup Final is an exception to this, as the highlight of the British Polo season. Social media allows you to change brand perceptions like this, by strategically sharing content to build your desired brand identity. It was key we communicated that visitors can watch incredible sporting action for very little cost throughout the season.
We also introduced an Instagram account for the club, this helped drive awareness among a younger audience. After only five months following has increased by 56% on Twitter, 18% on Facebook and their Instagram has over 2.4k followers.
Social Media Advertising
Employing social media advertising is also a fantastic way to target new customers. It allows you to define who will see your ad according to specific demographics, including age, location and interests. You can read a case study about a Facebook advertising campaign we rolled out for a global sportswear brand here.
At Kitch we love helping brands create new relationships online with both existing and potential customers via a well-planned digital strategy, using influencer outreach and with carefully selected partners. Get in touch if you’d like to find out more about what we can do for your brand.
