Godiva Luxury Ice Cream Parlour Event

Last week Kitch Media hosted and arranged the guest list for Godiva to welcome guests to experience the re-launch of Godiva’s luxury Ice Cream at an exclusive event for summer 2015. The flagship store on Regent Street was transformed into a decadent ice cream parlour, that was perfect to counter the English showers outside.

The lucky guests (including our very own kitchettes) had the choice of a scrummy waffle cone, a chocolate dipped waffle cone, or a small or large cup, I know what you’re thinking, why not all three right? Then came the choice of ice cream to fill them with, vanilla, intense dark chocolate or for those who simply could not choose just, a combination of both… and guess what we chose? Next came the fun of customising the ice cream at the unbelievable parlour toppings bar, a choice of toppings included Godiva’s milk, white or dark chocolate Crispy Pearls, chocolate syrup, chocolate flakes or bresilienne, a nutty caramelised hazelnut crumb, I know, sounds delicious right?… Well let me tell you, it most certainly was!

Our ‘Kitchettes’ were extremely excited about getting involved in this event and obviously thoroughly enjoyed tasting some of the delicious treats available for themselves!

We think the event went very well and Godiva delivered a mouth watering selection for everyone to try. Our partners for the evening, Bluebell Vineyards, also came up trumps serving their award winning Hindleap Brut Rosé, which went beautifully with the ice cream and chocolate dipped strawberries.
