Strategy

Wellocks Chef & Supply Day 2021, hosted at The Emirates Old Trafford, brought together chefs, suppliers, and the hospitality industry to celebrate Wellocks 60 year anniversary as well as the industry as a whole following the challenges of the pandemic.

Our aim was to drive increased brand awareness and generate interest from chefs and those within the hospitality industry to attend the event. We communicated via engaging social media campaigns over a 5 month period, created and tracked unique event hashtags to measure the impact of the event and supported with a Lead Generation campaign via paid social to reach new potential customers to invite to the event. Furthermore, we supported with the production and distribution of the event invites, as well as on the day live coverage across all social channels.

Results

The event generated +286 follows, 3.3k engagements and 180k impressions across all social channels. The exclusive event hashtag #wellocks2021 generated 149 mentions, 1.6k interactions, 801.1k reach, 445 shares and 1.1k likes. 

In the three weeks prior to the event, we generated 45 leads via paid social.
