Aubaine Supper Clubs

Recently we supported Aubaine, one of our clients in London, with two exciting Supper Clubs to showcase their fantastic new Summer Menu. We invited a selection of influencers on their behalf to gain exposure across the London audience, creating a buzz about their new menu and recent brand evolution. We contacted lifestyle and foodie influencers and were joined by a lovely bunch including Naomi from The London Foxx, Morena from Culture Trip London and Geraldine from Little Big Bell.

On arrival, guests were given the choice between their new La Parisienne IPA or a Summer G&T with Diplôme dry gin, Double Dutch cucumber and watermelon tonic, and fresh cucumber. We, being gin lovers, obviously chose the G&T which was like summer in a glass and just what we needed after a VERY warm tube journey. This was accompanied by a wagyu beef burger slider which just melted in the mouth. We reluctantly resisted the second as we were aware that there were eight dishes to follow!

Anthony Ekizian, Aubaine’s Executive Chef, proudly introduced the new summer inspired menu which was accompanied by wine, expertly selected by sommelier James White from Liberty Wines. Each course was delicious and beautifully presented. Our favourite starter was the Burrata served with colourful Heritage Tomatoes, Pink Grapefruit and a drizzle of Honey and Lavender Oil. The cheese was so soft and creamy which contrasted well with the zing of the grapefruit.

It was too hard to choose a favourite from the mains, both the Seared Seabass and the Provençale Lamb Duo were incredible. The seabass came at a perfect time, just as we were starting to think we’d struggle with the shear amount of food but, it was a light and tasty dish that gave us hope we’d make it to the end. We were interested to see how the lamb, commonly considered an autumnal dish, was given a summer twist. Presented was a perfectly pink olive-crusted lamb cutlet, rosemary and garlic braised lamb breast and sautéed Niçoise vegetables which definitely gave off some strong summer vibes and didn’t last long.

Each evening’s menu was topped off with a Chocolate Mi Cuit which was a rich, melt-in-the-middle chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and a mandarin sauce. This was lick your lips delicious and the perfect ending to a wonderful menu. We had an amazing evening with great company and left with very full, happy tums!

Aubaine’s new Summer Menu gained fantastic exposure via the influencer strategy employed, featuring in posts with up to 16.5k impressions and Instagram stories with up to 3.5k views. Furthermore, to maximise the success of the influencer activity we have invited guests unable to attend to sample the new breakfast menu another time. Our client is delighted with the results.

We’d highly recommend visiting one of their eight beautiful restaurants across London, they’re guaranteed to please.
