Objective

  • Grow brand awareness via Instagram working with partners and influencers.

Strategy

Part of our remit with KleverCase for 2016 was to engage influencers on their behalf, drive social reach and increase visits to the website.  We have built up a good rapport with many ‘bookstagrammers’ and therefore had a good idea of who would be well positioned to work with the brand.  We also chose new accounts with over 100K followers and were ideal for maximising social reach.

We partnered with BookishlyUK, Home Decor Drawing, Happy Socks and Frostbeard to make the boxes more appealing and to work with others in the space who have a similar customer demographic.  They were all wonderful to work with and gained increased social reach from the pictures and unboxing videos.

The campaign included sending boxes to 12 influencers around the world and included two of their favourite KleverCase’s, an iPhone case and a diary. The remit of each influencer was agreed prior to them receiving products and they were responsible for sharing an unboxing image or video, the unwrapping of gifts and posts about each case. Required to post a minimum of two images and feature on their blog if they have one.

Results

All 12 influencers posted far beyond the brief we provided them and within the 2 month time frame. Many also shared on Instagram stories which were very popular with their fans. Over 1000 new followers were gained in the 6 week period and traffic from Instagram was more than doubled.
